Faust at Deutsche Oper Berlin

Two interesting questions: if German audiences boo at Faust, maybe they are paid hecklers? Remember last year, at the Salzburg 2014 performance of Don Giovanni, there were boos, but the question is why? What were the boos in response to specifically?

Ildebrando plays a great Mephisto. He's a great actor. How does his Mephisto compare to his Don Giovanni?

A better question: how does his Mephisto compare to Sven-Eric Bechtolt's Satan from Salzburg 2014 Don Giovanni? Thanks to the Deutsche Oper Berlin for the great photo. It's interesting that in this picture, Teodor Ilincai and Ildebrando D'Arcangelo look almost the same.
